Jim and I have been married for 38 years and have the two boys. We farm about 1800 acres in the Twin Falls area with our son David.
I also teach fourth grade at Filer Elementary. We are the group that takes our entire fourth grade on a 50 mile hike each year. (We were written up in PARADE MAGAGINE in 2004.) I am also involved with the National Oregon Trail Association and am the past state president. I guess you could say "I'm a RUT NUT".
Besides helping perserve and mark the Oregon California Trails, I also educate interested people. I'll be doing a pickup caravan tour for about 15 -20 vehicles through southeasten Idaho durning the reunion.
Jim and I also send time in Alaska with our other son and winters in Hawaii when I'm not teaching.
It's a great life!!!
