Shirley Worl 53, Moscow Resident

Shirley C. Worl died Thursday morning at home in Moscow. She was 52.

Shirley was born Sept. 25, 1947, at Moscow to Frederick and Elma Christmann Schafer. She grew up in Moscow and attended Moscow schools. On Dec. 19, 1964, she married Gene McCauley at Moscow and they moved to the Seattle area. They were later divorced and she returned to Moscow in 1982. On June 4, 1983, she and Gary Worl were married in Moscow and were later divorced.

Surviving are her mother and step-father, Clarence and Elma Hendershett of Moscow' two daughters, Angela McCaley in Italy and Stephanie Fox in Lacey, Wash.; four grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Schafer of Keysville, Utah; and one sister, Joann Schafer in Tacoma, Wash. She was preceded in death by her father.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Moscow Cemetery under the direction of Short's Funeral Chapel, Moscow.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Cancer Research Center for Children Foundation.
