The 45th Reunion - Schedule of Events
 
Friday, July 16th

5:30 pm. - ?pm

Join your classmates for a no-host social in the Courtyard at the University Inn-Best-Western at 1516 West Pullman Road. Complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided. No-host bar. We’ve invited other classes from the 60’s to join us, too.

Saturday, July 17th

Some Morning Options:

MHS Class of ’65 Golf at the University of Idaho Golf Course on Nez Perce Drive by the Arboretum (tee times to be arranged)

Walk, run or bike on paved trails: the Chipman Trail between Moscow and Pullman or the Latah Trail between Moscow and Troy.

Tour the new University of Idaho Arboretum (enter from Nez Perce Drive by the Golf Course or from Palouse River Drive).

Enjoy the Moscow Farmer’s Market in Friendship Square on 4th Street between Main and Jackson in downtown Moscow (8 am – 1 pm)

Afternoon :

1 pm. – 4 pm

Guided tours of Moscow Junior High School, 1912 Center (Whitworth Building), and Moscow High School.  Here’s a real opportunity to walk down memory lane.

  • 1:00 pm – Moscow Junior High on East D Street
  • 2:00 pm – 1912 Center (Whitworth Building) on Third Street
  • 3:00 pm – Moscow High School on Third Street 
5:30pm

No-host social at 1912 Center (Whitworth Building) across from the High School on Third Street.  Check out the auction items on display and the memories in the slide show.

Evening:

6:30pm

Gather for class picture.  Prepaid prints will be available for pick up after dinner. 

Be sure to bring your own camera for candid shots.  Photos submitted to Bill and Connie (Dahmen) Sever at reunion@mhs1965.com will be added to the website.  Please include names. 

7:00pm

Enjoy a dinner buffet followed by more visiting, the live auction, slide show, merriment, music provided by Denny Sumner (class of ’64) and memories.

Sunday, July 18th

9 am - ??

Meet with classmates for goodbyes and breakfast in the Courtyard at the University Inn-Best Western, 1516 West Pullman Road. 

8:30am - ??

Leave Moscow for an exciting Hell’s Canyon Jet Boat Day Trip.  Details to be announced.



We hope that you will contribute items to our auction and photos for our slide show.  Send your photographic memories to Harriot Hagedorn before May 31. Items that you might consider donating for the auction are arts or crafts that you have made or an item representative of where you now live.  Proceeds will be used to offset costs for this reunion, to sponsor an MHS Class of ‘65 window in the 1912 Center (www.1912center.org), to maintain the website, and for future get-togethers.  Please bring your auction item(s) along Saturday evening to the no-host social. 

Looking for other activities?

Extend your vacation and drive north to Plummer where you can bike the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes from Plummer to Wallace – 72 miles of paved trail – www.wallace-id.com/CdA_trail.

Plan to arrive early and stay late as you enjoy Moscow’s summer music festival – Rendezvous in the Park - Thursday, July 15 through Sunday, July 18 – www.moscowmusic.com/Rendezvous.

NOTE:  Moscow’s annual Rendezvous in the Park will be the same weekend as our reunion.  We are told the motels start being booked in April for Rendezvous, so make your reservations early!

                        Dry camp anywhere on the gravel for free!

                        Dump station available. Donation box camping on first come - first serve basis.
                        No reservations accepted but nothing is currently scheduled for July 16-18.
                        Currently working on website www.latah.id.us/fair; should be up and running by March. 

            Northwest River Supplies parking lot on White Avenue south of Troy Road (formerlyTidyman’s)
                        No reservations, no utilities, no sewer, no water – but no charge!

Where are they now???

Some of our classmates are VERY hard to find!

Where are they?We've been able to gather contact info for several but it may be dated and not very useful.   Below is a list of names for those that I've not been able to find, where we have only an unconfirmed Email address or that the addresses/phone numbers don't appear to be correct.
