How can it be possible this much time has flown by??  Seems like only yesterday we were young and innocent....well, maybe young!  I left Moscow in 1964, for southern Callifornia, and was fortunate enough to leave there and retire in my favorite state of Idaho last July.  I truly feel like I am finally home!  The only drawback was moving 1300 miles away from my kids and grandkids!  As my 10 year old granddaughter says, "Explain to me again why you had to move!".  But it was a lifetime desire to get out of Cal. and was so very easy to leave that state behind....just lots of tears to leave family behind.  Would love to have them all move here, but don't think that is going to happen.

My husband George, retired from 26 years with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. in 2008, and we were on the road the very next day in our gorgeous 40’ Tiffin Phaeton motorhome and off to see this beautiful country of ours with the thought in mind to find the perfect place to transplant ourselves.....with so many choices in mind!  As it happened, out first stop was to Spokane Valley, WA to give my mother a 90th birthday party, and in looking at real estate in CDA, found and fell in love with the new condo's being built on the Spokane River.  After almost 5 months of travel, we found nothing that even compared and closed the deal on the condo here.  We absolutely LOVE Coeur d' Alene and all the new friends we have made!

My parents lived in CdA for 46 years, so it was like my second home when coming to visit, which I did at least twice a year and as often as I could in between....always telling my husband, it was a good thing I love him so much, because it was always difficult to leave here and return to So. Cal.

I won't go all the way back through the years.....lots of hard work, lots of raising children, lots of very good memories and some not so good.  But I have always felt life is what you make it and you should give it your all to make it a good one!  I am so blessed to have my wonderful, nearly perfect husband of 27 years!  We are both in very good health and are able to be very active.....especially on all our new outdoor toys!

If you remember me at all, Classmates,  and are in the area, don't hesitate to call.  Have fun at the 45th and hopefully we will all show up for the 50th!
