After High School, I started my career in retail at Tri-State, then worked at Montgomery Wards as store manager until the store closed. I then worked at a couple of craft stores and finished my career as manager of crafts at Wal-Mart. I retired after a year's long battle with breast cancer. Fortunately, I have made a full recovery.

I have taken many classes in oil painting and have painted hundreds of oils. I have always had horses and assisted with 4-H and helping all four kids with their horse projects. My daughter got first place in the state trail riding competition. I love trail riding and watch horse and mule competitions.

Many fun times have been had at the family cabin at Dworshak, including horseback riding, fishing, and boating.

During my career my husband completed his master's degree from the University of Idaho and became the Chief of Police for Moscow. He retired in 2010. We have been going to Yuma Arizona in the winter to escape the snow and have done many activities with the large group of other folks from Moscow, also escaping the snow. I have found many hidden treasures in the desert including beautiful flowers, rocks and good times with our jeep group.

I am grateful for the friends I had in High School and all the great memories. I was grateful for my friend Macel Eveland who invited me to her church. I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized. The Lord has walked beside me and counselled me ever since.
